At it again, working late, learning and seeking more direction in where to go with this site. I have enough Don’t Forget Abouts… people in my life to post for years. But that would limit the exposure of some wonderful people to only those that have influenced my life.

I was told about this tragedy this morning and asked to do something with it because of my passion for change. And in accordance with what this site is all about, I’m sure that Derrion Albert is a Don’t Forget Abouts person in some people’s lives.

This is really hard to do. My cousin Eddie passed away on September 17, 2009. He was only five years older than me. He died of a very rare stomach cancer, I believe my father said two out of a million people get this type of cancer. I’m rarely at a loss for words, but I’m struggling to share this here. It’s been years since Eddie and I were close. He used to babysit my brother and me. Take us over his girlfriend’s house and we had to sit in the car. And we always threatened to tell on him.

You probably know what I’m talking about just by the title alone. Today was one of those days when I couldn’t get things done quite right.

The specifics aren’t really important because “hitting a brick wall” was the general theme for the day. No matter how many times I took a break to calm my frustration, get some clarity and come back to the task at hand; there was something else that wouldn’t work quite right.

Another late night working and putting some foundational information to use here at Don’t Forget Abouts.
All my life people have told me that I am a leader; a person with leadership qualities. My zodiac sign, Aries; The Leader. Basketball; a scorer, yet able to bring the best out in my teammates. Speaking; able to convey to others what I’ve learned and witness them utilize that information.

While I’m going through the necessary preparation and learning to get this site how I want it I figured I should share what’s going on behind the scenes. I have been doing some Adobe cramming, if there is such a thing, and it’s been helpful and frustrating at the same time.

I tend to learn very quickly, especially when it come to computers, software, hardware, etc. because it’s something I love doing, but it’s one of those areas of learning where the more information and skills I get, the more I realize how little I know.

All night I have been working on getting a website organized and published. Actually for several years now I have been working on one venture or another, all having something to do with the internet. Tonight, the latest two ventures are: 1. A mobile website and 2. A blog.
